Gary Masse, Ph.D.

Director of Manufacturing

Gary brings over 28 years of experience in operations and technology management.  He is responsible for all production activities at CML, including process scale up, GMP plant manufacturing, logistics, production scheduling at CML's Washington Drive Facility in Germantown. Over his carrier Gary has directed operations for large multi-national companies such as Total as well as a myriad of small and mid-size companies.

Prior to CML, Gary Masse was Vice President and General Manager of Milsco Manufacturing where he was responsible for operations in the US and UK. Before that he was Vice President of Technology for Suvar who was later acquired by Total. Gary started his career at ICI where he served in roles of increasing responsibility from research chemist to Corporate Technology Manager where he was responsible for environmental technologies and outside collaborations. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Windsor (Ontario), and was the NSERC post doctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin, Madison under the direction of Professor Barry Trost.
