Chemistry
At Cambridge Major we understand that maintaining a high ratio of Ph.D. scientists means you’ll get rapid and reliable chemistry services supporting early preclinical quantities through full production at plant scale. Because our Ph.D. scientists follow the projects from the lab into the plant, we have the expertise to troubleshoot any possible issues that might arise on scale up. Whether you need a synthetic route completely developed, or can provide us a fully developed process we’ll do whatever it takes to get the job done safely, efficiently, and on spec. Combine this with an obsessive focus on delivery and you’ll understand that we are the right choice for all your chemistry needs.
Cambridge Major has extensive expertise in metal-mediated coupling reactions including Suzuki, Stille, Heck, Sonogashira, and Negishi, as well as a variety of chiral chemistries (asymmetric catalysis, diastereomer salt crystallizations, enzymatic reactions), cyclizations, reductive aminations, fluorinations, and much more.
Cambridge Major has synthesized thousands of compounds, and has particular expertise in hererocycles (N, S, O), nucleosides, carbohydrates, biphenyls and fluorenes, sugars, phosphitylating reagents, and much more.
Our equipment allows us to handle projects from gram to tonnage scale, as well as temperature ranges from -90°C to 250°C and pressures up to 300 psi. We routinely carry out organolithium and Grignard reactions, and can handle azides, phosgene and other difficult reagents. |
