November 18, 2002 Germantown, WI USA: Cambridge Major Laboratories announces the acquisition of the pilot plant assets of the former Oread facility in Lawrence, Kansas. The equipment will more than double Cambridge Major’s plant capacity, and will provide significant low-temperature processing capability. The assets include 6 reactor systems ranging from 50 gallon to 300 gallon, including 2 cryogenic vessels up to 200 gallon, and other specialty equipment.

The added capacity effectively positions Cambridge Major to better compete mid and late stage clinical API synthesis, as well as expand its smaller volume, post-NDA commercial manufacturing capacity. Acquisition of these assets is the first part of a strategic expansion of facilities that will commence in 2003.
