Cambridge Major Certified Compliant with ChemStewards® Program

Company demonstrates commitment to continuous EHS&S improvement

 

August 19, 2009, Germantown, WI USA – Cambridge Major Laboratories development and manufacturing facility has completed requirements for certification and compliance with the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) ChemStewards program. ChemStewards is SOCMA's flagship environmental, health, safety and security (EHS&S) continuous performance improvement program. Industry created ChemStewards to meet the unique needs of the batch, custom and specialty chemical industry. As a mandatory requirement for SOCMA members engaged in the manufacturing or handling of synthetic and organic chemicals, ChemStewards is helping participants reach for superior EHS&S performance

 

Cambridge Major is being recognized for its successful efforts to go above and beyond the minimum for federal EHS&S compliance, build customer confidence and community trust, and strengthen product stewardship.
